Credit Agricole Ukraine and Mastercard have allocated UAH 1 100 000 for medical equipment to fight with COVID-19 in Ukraine
Credit Agricole Ukraine in partnership with Mastercard, and with support from “Your support” Charity Fund purchased medical equipment to the amount of UAH 1 100 000 for Ternopil Communal Children’s Hospital and Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 17. By the end of May these hospitals will obtain defibrillator, patient monitors, pulse oximetry devices and infusion pumps, which will help patients to cope with a critical course of the disease.
Ternopil Communal Children’s Hospital and Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 17 are the hospital bases defined for provision of medical care to patients infected with coronavirus COVID-19.

Indeed, today it’s not enough to supply hospitals only with AVLs. Other equipment which beds in ICU ward must be equipped with according to the list of equipment is needed as well. That is the kind of medical equipment – Mastercard and Credit Agricole Ukraine, channeled the funds to. And it is a consistent charity. The equipment we bought will work reliably for many years and will help patients with different diagnoses to recover even when COVID-19 pandemic is over,” commented Valeria Tatarchuk, Founder and CEO of “Your support” Charity Fund.
Credit Agricole Ukraine makes its contribution to the confrontation with the coronavirus pandemic under its global program of corporate social responsibility “We Care!”. Team of the Bank believes that its example of help to the society will inspire other companies to join the fight against the pandemic expansion and its aftermath.

Credit Agricole Bank and Mastercard have allocated UAH 600 000 and UAH 500 000, respectively, for the purchase of necessary equipment for hospitals. The contribution of Mastercard is one among a number of initiatives aimed at overcoming the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine.

Globally, the company has committed $ 25 million for medicines discovery and development and has allocated over $ 5 million to charitable projects in Ukraine. Our experience has shown that being a socially responsible business today and joining efforts is vital. We are pleased to work with our partner, Credit Agricole Ukraine, on an important initiative and help hospitals to obtain the required equipment,” commented Anna Onyshchenko, Customer Relations Officer of Mastercard in Ukraine.
This is not the first charity initiative of Credit Agricole Ukraine in response to COVID-19. In March 2020, the Bank purchased AVL worth UAH 700 000 for Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 17.
