In 1998, he graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in Aerospace Engineering.

1998-2006 – working for HIRSCH Group, international machine building company.

2006-2008 – managing oil and gas projects in Amec Foster Wheeler engineering company.

At the end of 2008, Emanuele Volpe started his career as Project Manager in ENEL, a global energy company.

Since 2013, he has been responsible for innovation in an ENEL oversea representative office. In particular, for the introduction of the open innovation culture in the company, new technologies and start up scouting and their involvement in energy company business, creation of the innovation hub.
